Maple Custard

2 Cups Milk
4 eggs
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup (medium or dark)
1/4 tsp. Vanilla
Nutmeg (optional - sprinkle on top)

Blend thoroughly.

Bake this mixture in a square Pyrex dish; set the Pyrex dish in a large pan to which you add one inch of hot water. Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes or until set.
